Kanesha and Martin met via the internet. She's a Texan, he's a Brit. But that didn't stop Cupid's arrow. These two said their I Do's at the Omni Fort Worth, June 16th. It was one of the most fun weddings I've ever attended! Kanesha and her bridal party threw down on the dance floor with abandon and it was contagious, as most everyone danced the night away. Congratulations, Kanesha and Martin!!]]>[email protected] (Thirsty Cat Photography)DFWDallasFort WorthMetroplexbridalcandiddigitalengagementfamilymaternitynewbornphotographyphotojournalisticportraitsweddinghttps://www.thirstycatphotography.com/blog/2012/6/love-knows-no-boundariesTue, 26 Jun 2012 17:46:05 GMTNewborns are so sweet!

Babies are miraculous. Babies are precious. Babies are adorable. And Baby Emory is no exception. I was so honored to capture this, at the time 3-week old, bask in the spring sun and snuggle in the sweet embrace of his mother. Photos may not be able to capture the sweet scent of a baby, or the sound of tiny cooing, but I sure hope to try to capture that flash of a first smile! Congratulations, Riqui and Esther!

https://www.thirstycatphotography.com/blog/2012/5/an-accomplished-aggie
I had the great honor of taking the photographs of Emily, who I have known literally her whole life! My little sister who was about 5 or 6 at the time, declared that with Emily's birth her family and ours had become all one big "Family." So prophetic. The joy of watching her first steps to "dunking" her Aggie ring, to watch her play and care for my two young sons (just as I did with her and her sister, when I was the age she is now). Emily has an immensely special place in my heart and I am honored that she enjoys calling herself "my daughter." I truly feel that she is. And I am so extremely proud of her accomplishments and academic prowess, graduating from Texas A&M University a year early. I wish her the best of luck as she now ventures into adulthood and takes on the task of educating our youth. CONGRATULATIONS, EMILY!!!!!!!! He may listen too screaming heavy metal and more piercings than grandmas may approve of, but Shaylor has got the biggest heart and strives to make his Momma proud! Working with Shay was such a great experience! I was so excited to capture not only the "sweet boy" that he tries to hide, but also the strong, young man he has become. Congratulations Shaylor on your Graduation! It's not often you find someone with a natural talent of a professional model in a small town. But with Hailey, all I had to do was snap the photos. She was incredibly comfortable in front of the camera, striking a new pose with each click of the lens. It also helps that she has striking blue eyes, long flowing blonde hair and legs a mile long! Congratulations Hailey on your upcoming graduation! Wishing you the best in your future endeavors.]]>[email protected] (Thirsty Cat Photography)DFWDallasFort Worth,MetroplexSenior Photographygraduationhigh school graduation, high school,photographyseniorshttps://www.thirstycatphotography.com/blog/2012/4/small-town-beautyTue, 10 Apr 2012 20:51:34 GMTSo hard to believe!

I was so fortunate last week to shoot the senior photographs of my dear friend, Kayla. I have known her literally since before she was born. I have had the opportunity to watch her grow up from such a teenie tiny little girl into a teenie tiny young lady. She is so beautiful and it was bittersweet capturing her images just a day shy of her 18th birthday. Wow, do I feel old! Congratulations, Kayla, on your graduation, and can't wait to see what's in store in the next chapter of your life!]]>[email protected] (Thirsty Cat Photography)DFWDallasFort WorthMetroplexSenior photographygraduationhigh schoolhigh school graduationphotographyseniorshttps://www.thirstycatphotography.com/blog/2012/3/so-hard-to-believeTue, 20 Mar 2012 18:19:15 GMT
